Kara, a newcoming to the Academy is off to a quick start in her tournament experience. This competitive young player with a spring in her step is sure to develop quickly into a top player. She has an natural instinct for the game and is not afraid to attack the ball. With a little shape on her shot & spin on the ball there is no telling how high this talented player will soar. Recently, Kara Hinton took home 1st place at the Santa Cruz Tennis Academy Novice.

Andrew is just beginning to gain tennis experience. Andrew has been working with Associate Pro Jonas Pollack over the last 6 months. He has tuned up his game and developed quickly. Andrew is very quick and is a strong competitor. Andrew got off to a great start winning 5 matches in route to the championship in his first tournament Clubsport Fremont Junior Novice. |

Rayan is a tough street smart competitor who loves to fight and play tennis. Ryan is becoming a regular tournament player and is working to improve his pre-match routine to prepare himself for all challenges. Rayan has a ton of natural talent and has really improved the use of spin and strategy into his matchplay. Ryan recently scored victories at Seascape Challenger (1st Place), Oakland Novice (1st place) and has improved his ranking into the top 75 USTA Boys 14's. |

Josh has spent a lot of time on his tennis and it shows. Working with Academy Head Pro Caryn Cranston, logging in the Academy hours, and working as an LGTA Instructor, Josh has dedicated himself to the game. He has improved all facets of his game, while staying true to his wicked overhead slice. His rally skills have improved and allowed him to stay in points longer. This has payed dividends as each match he plays he increases in confidence. He is gunning for the LGHS Varsity team. As his experience grows he will no doubt reach his goals and beyond. Josh recently won the Seascape Novice Tournament (1st Place). He has grown considerably over the past year and stand over 6 feet tall. |
