"Todd has helped me in all aspects of the game. He helped maintain my mental composure through some of the toughest times on and off the court. He has worked with my flexibility to make sure I don't get injured. And he has even helped me change and develop new shots, which normally does not happen at my level." |

Our Academy Black Belt Club was designed to make sure that each of our players is progressing and continueing to improve. With over two decades of coaching, training, studying, & competing, we have come up with a unique TEST that charts players improvement in core fundamentals such as: Technical skills in all stokes, Mental Toughness techniques & rituals, Footwork, Fitness, Strategy, Nutrition, & Goal setting.
Our program stresses the importance of LONG TERM development of the whole player and person. We focus on PERFORMANCE GOALS rather than OUTCOME goals. And help players & parents keep perspective on development, to enjoy the process, and to not get distracted with Rankings.
Our Black Belt System will ensure that you will continue to develop a full (well rounded) game by meeting small stepping stone goals on your way to your dreams!!
It is not what you are ranked at in the 12's & 14's what matters. It is more important how a player is competing in their prime, between the ages of 23 - 28.

Every summer LGTA organizes teams to compete in the USTA Jr. League summer program. This Team allows our players to compete against the local clubs and tennis programs in the South Bay. LGTA players train in the summer program and play matches on Thursdays and Fridays. Each match is an opportunity for our players to improve their matchplay. By learning to set PERFORMANCE GOALS our students are assured to never lose a match! |

No program is more dedicated to the modern game of tennis. Our USPTA Award-Winning Staff are true students of the game and see Tennis as a vehicle to learn many life skills.
With fundamentals at the forefront of LGTA's philosophy, every skill has been broken down and evaluated to find the most efficient, effective and natural way to give players the most power, control and consistency with the least amount of stress and strain on the body. LGTA is an 8 Board Certified Academy. |

|
LGTA has a highly developed Footwork & Fitness program. Athletes are trained in a variety of exercises to build strength, quickness, flexibility and endurance specific to the game of Tennis. It is no secret that better fitness translates to a more confident athlete, physically and mentally. LGTA is an Etcheberry Certified Academy. |

Nothing is more important than Attitude. Players learn the competition attitudes and rituals of the pros. Players learn how to control their body language and always project a CONFIDENT FIGHTER IMAGE .
In addition, players learn how to be resilient under stressful matchplay situations and how to set performance goals to improve at every opportunity. LGTA players learn to "See it and believe it," and "Every point is a new battle." |
